Job Overview
The Chief of Staff is a high-level, strategic position that works closely with the CEO to manage priorities, oversee internal operations, and spearhead special projects. This role is essential to ensuring that Wabl remains focused on its mission while continuously innovating and improving its services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the CEO's trusted partner
- Ensure alignment of business priorities
- Free up the CEO to focus on key strategic areas
Manage Priorities
- Conduct regular calendar audits to ensure the CEO's time is optimized
- Review and synthesize metrics and initiatives to support company priority setting
- Assist the CEO in decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
Oversee Staff and Internal Operations
- Prepare agendas, take notes, and assign action items at weekly staff meetings
- Manage OKR (Objectives and Key Results) and annual planning processes
- Support board meeting preparation and follow-up
- Create and implement decision-making frameworks
- Manage All Hands meetings and other company-wide events
Spearhead Special Projects
- Lead a metrics overhaul to ensure alignment with company goals
- Conduct customer research to identify new business opportunities
- Manage the acquisition process for potential targets
- Lead the search and hiring process for key executive roles
Drive Key Initiatives
- Ensure the successful execution and continuous improvement of Wabl's core offerings
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and implement new features and enhancements
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales, marketing, and product
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for growth and work with the relevant teams to implement data-driven solutions
Requirements
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, written and spoken
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly operational role, preferably in a startup or high-growth company
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Proficiency in relevant tools and software (e.g., Notion, Google Docs, Asana)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
- Experience working directly with C-level executives
- Familiarity with the marketing, startup, or entrepreneurship ecosystem
- Strong network within the industry

Onboarding - First 30 Days
Week 1: Orientation and Immersion
- Shadow the CEO to understand daily responsibilities, priorities, and decision-making processes.
- Meet with key team members to understand roles, current projects, and challenges.
Week 2: Strategic Assessment
- Conduct a thorough analysis of company operations and propose improvements.
- Review the OKR process and suggest enhancements.
Week 3: Execution and Collaboration
- Begin executing high-priority initiatives, collaborating with relevant teams.
- Establish regular check-ins with the CEO.
Week 4: Refinement and Reporting
- Monitor progress and prepare a comprehensive report for the CEO outlining key accomplishments and next steps.
