JOB TITLE: Project Technical Services Manager
Category: Key Personnel.
Location: Muscat/Site.
Qualification:
Degree in Engineering
Experience:
Shall have minimum 8 - 10 years relevant work experience in pre and post contract management of which 5 years in a similar position and in Middle East Oil & Gas environment.
Role & Responsibilities
• Shall be responsible for:
- Cost estimation, and cost control
- Planning and Scheduling
- Information management and document control
- Administration services
• Shall Provide Cost Engineering services including review of bids and quotations from Vendors and evaluate and award.
• Responsible for producing Control Cost Estimates. Providing Design personnel with Cost Estimate input.
• Provide post contract management “quantity surveying services” in oil and gas industry.
• Preparing the monthly valuations and final accounts against contract terms and conditions including site visits to carry out measurements.
• Establishment of star rates, providing commercial/contractual site information in preparation of variations.
• Evaluating claims submitted by sub-contractors.
• Responsible for all entire aspects of jobs preparation and planning, schedule monitoring and control, delays analysis, resources planning, progress valuation/monitoring/recovery.
• Responsible for project planning, cost estimating and project reporting. Responsible for the efficient delivery of all project support services to engineering, construction, commissioning and maintenance, management of all support resources.
• Responsible to build and maintain rigorous Contract financial records, spend reporting, estimating, performance analysis
• Responsible for Document control, numbering system and correspondence management
• Responsible for all other administration issues.
