Overall control and responsibility for the Quality Management Systems in compliance with ISO and API standards.

· Plan and conduct internal and supplier audits.

· Implement the Quality Management System (QMS), including preparation, revision, distribution, and execution of the QMS Manual and Procedures.

· Conduct risk assessments and planning for each project/job.

· Prepare necessary procedures for failure and repair, including crack repair procedures.

· Provide technical support in selecting appropriate materials, standards, and procedures for projects, addressing failure analyses as required.

· Oversee welders' training and qualifications; monitor welder performance and maintain the Welder Log Book.

· Allocate work and monitor the activities of other QA/QC Engineers.

· Review and approve receiving inspection reports and material test certificates.

· Manage day-to-day QMS activities, ensuring compliance with customer, legal, and regulatory requirements throughout the organization.

· Initiate follow-up audits to verify and record the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

· Report results of internal audits and present analyses of QMS effectiveness to management.

· Maintain and update the codes and standards library.

· Manage pre-qualification and external audits by customers.

· Responsible for acquiring API monograms for new business units.

· Conduct supplier selection, approval, audits, and manage Supplier Non-Conformance Reports using the 8D method.

· Prepare Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports and coordinate with departments to close NCRs.

· Conduct internal audits and compile audit findings into reports.

· Perform root cause analysis and data analysis for presentation to top management.

· Prepare investigation and failure analysis reports.

· Address customer complaints and maintain comprehensive records, reporting findings to top management.

· Assign responsibilities to QA/QC Engineers and inspectors.

· Monitor and manage the QA/QC team effectively.

Skills

-B. Tech / M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

-Expertise in API/ISO 9001 quality management systems

-Proficiency in API standards (API Q1, 4F, RP 4G, 6A, 8C, 8B, 7K, RP 7L)

-Strong skills in quality control, raw material inspection, and structural works related to drilling rigs

-Preferred certifications: API, ISO 9001, CSWIP, CWI
