We are looking to speak with highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Experts to join a commercial business based in Muscat Oman.
This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the effective management of the People Unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, policy development, and strategic planning, with a strong focus on talent management, performance management, career development, employee experience, and workforce planning.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Management: Review and enhance talent management practices to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems that align with their strategic goals.
- Career Development: Create and manage career development programs that support employee growth and organisational needs.
- Employee Experience: Design initiatives to improve employee experience and engagement throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Workforce Planning: Lead workforce planning initiatives to ensure a strong talent pipeline and effective succession planning for critical roles.
- Oversee the development and implementation of a people analytics framework, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to enable data-driven decisions.
- Manage the development and update of their organisational structure, role charters, positional structures, job descriptions, and job families.
- Serve as the custodian of People policies and procedures, offering guidance to divisions on policy development and ensuring alignment with labour laws.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment, labour, and benefits laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to address workforce needs and challenges.
- Act as the focal point for People Unit strategies, tactical plans and OKRs,
- Ensure the division's strategy and initiatives address the needs of emerging generations to meet the future workforce's requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on strategic planning and policy development.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
