The Job To help align any future candidate submissions with their expectations, here is a quick summary of what they are ideally looking for: • Subject & Qualification Background: A degree/training specifically in Drama and Theatre Studies (with English as a secondary subject being a bonus, but not pure Acting • Must •hold UK QTS • Leadership Experience: Direct, proven experience as a Head of Department in Drama / Theatre Studies • Teaching & Curriculum Experience: Proven, high-quality experience at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, ideally with direct experience teaching the Pearson Edexcel GCSE specification • School Background & Career History: Sustained, significant and successful recent experience in at least one UK state school. • They are looking for stability and no frequent movement between schools • Production Track Record: An impressive track record of directing serious drama productions, rather than musical theatre. • Timeline & References: Available to start in August 2026, January 2027, or August 2027, backed by exemplary professional references The Salary and Benefits Paying between OMR 1496 to 2101 per month tax free.
