Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Egypt for a Senior Environment Health Safety Engineer. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring occupational health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, and fostering a safety-first culture within the organization. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, overseeing safety training programs, and collaborating with various teams to maintain a safe working environment while addressing environmental and safety concerns.
Qualifications Proficiency in Health & Safety practices and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations. Strong knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering principles. Experience in developing and delivering effective safety training programs. Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures to ensure workplace safety. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. A proactive approach to ensuring regulatory compliance related to environmental and safety standards. Experience working in engineering, construction, or a related industry is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline. Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or other relevant EHS qualifications are advantageous. Previous experience in the infrastructure sector, preferably in water and sanitation projects.
