Client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Specialist to provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, a child-friendly approach, and the ability to work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to support growth, development, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine well-child checkups, growth and developmental assessments. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses (respiratory infections, allergies, endocrine issues, GI problems, etc.). Provide preventive care including immunizations, nutrition counseling, and health education. Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics. Develop individualized treatment plans and counsel parents/guardians about conditions, medications, and follow-up care. Manage pediatric emergencies and stabilize critical patients prior to referral when required. Coordinate care with specialists such as neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, cardiologists, and others. Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records. Adhere to infection-control, safety, and clinical governance standards. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and continuing medical education.
Qualifications & Requirements:
MBBS/MD with specialization in Pediatrics (MD/DNB or equivalent). Valid medical license and registration with the appropriate medical council. Demonstrated experience in outpatient and inpatient pediatric care. Strong diagnostic skills and ability to manage pediatric emergencies. Excellent communication skills with a caring, empathetic approach toward children and families. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary settings.
