Chief CSA Engineer (We are looking for an Expat to work in QATAR, Single or Family status)

Objective

To provide process discipline specific engineering services to Worley and its clients, and technical support and supervision within the discipline and to other disciplines by leading a discipline team.

Accountabilities

• Ensure technical competence of civil/structural personnel (Engineers and
  
  

Designers).

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, SOW, technical specifications etc., and

• Technical integrity of all work scope within civil/structural department.
• Manage civil/structural engineering design and any design changes within budget
  
  

and schedule.

• Technical supervision of project designated civil/structural designers and
  
  

draftsmen in the execution of their duties.

• Input into schedule development for various projects.
  
  

Experience

• Extensive work experience as a Principal engineer within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Familiar with international standards such as AISC, API, ASTM, BS, etc
• Thorough knowledge of the applicable engineering design and construction civil/structural codes, standards and best practices for both onshore and offshore.
• Knowledge of civil/structural detailing and capability to develop construction friendly and economic connection and support details.
• Proven experience of leading a team of civil/structural discipline engineers and designers.
• User of SACS and MS Office Suite of Software, STAAD Pro and MathCAd.
  
  

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage
