Responsibilities:

• Preparing Cost estimates, BoQs, and Rate Breakdowns.
• Evaluating variations and claims.
• Auditing payments and preparation of Contractor's/Consultants' payment recommendations.
• Verification of BoQ quantities.
• Reviewing of Contract Correspondence.
• Attending meetings, drafting agenda & MOM.
• Managing, checking and preparing and presenting cash flow & cost management advice to clients.
• Taking responsibility for the agreement of final accounts & Estimate at Completion.
• Undertaking Cost control techniques.
• Interpreting and offering advice on Contract documents.
• Value Engineering, Cost adjustment & Provisional Sums Management.

Skills and Experience:

• Worked / working in Qatar.
• Good Experience in large complex buildings and international airport projects.
• Exposure to Re-measurable Contracts.
• Consultancy experience.
• Experience in Infrastructure or associated works.
• Awareness on FIDIC conditions of contract and international methods of measurement is desirable.
• Experience with the measurements of Bills of quantities, Cost planning, and Value engineering.
• AutoCAD/Measurement Software.
• Minimum of 10 years in the relevant field.

Minimum Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Quantity Surveying / engineering
• Chartered Quantity Surveyor license (RICS)
• Minimum 25 years relevant experience in construction cost management
