Job Description:
Seeking a skilled Senior Network and Security Engineer with expertise in managing and maintaining network infrastructure and security systems, with proficiency in Cisco, Check Point, Cisco ISE, Infoblox, and F5 technologies. The Network and Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network and security solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers, using Cisco, Check Point, and F5 technologies.
2. Configure and troubleshoot network security policies, access controls, and security protocols to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
3. Deploy and maintain Cisco ISE for identity and access management, including authentication, authorization, and policy enforcement for network devices and endpoints.
4. Manage DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM) services using Infoblox appliances to ensure efficient and reliable network operations.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, software development, and business units, to implement network and security requirements for new projects and initiatives.
6. Develop and maintain network and security documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and policies.
7. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in network and security engineering to enhance our organization's security posture and operational efficiency.
8. Qualifications:
9. Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10. 8+ years of experience in network engineering and security roles.
11. Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching technologies, including Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and Catalyst switches.
12. Hands-on experience with Cisco Firewalls, Check Point firewalls and Security Management Server.
13. In-depth knowledge of Cisco ISE for network access control (NAC) and policy-based authentication.
14. Familiarity with Infoblox appliances for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
15. Experience with F5 BIG-IP load balancers, including LTM and GTM modules.
16. Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and HTTP.
17. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
19. Perform real-time network monitoring, regular health checks, and maintenance of large-scale network infrastructure and network devices. Investigate operational issues and take corrective actions to resolve them.
20. Work closely with multiple groups within and outside the organization to restore the services within the SLA and provide root cause analysis.
21. Work closely with Stakeholders and team members to help with technology implementation, documentation, and streamlining of the process.
Certifications:
· Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification preferred.
· Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or equivalent certification preferred.
· Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
· F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA) or equivalent certification preferred.
· Other relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) a plus.
