Job Summary:

  • The outdoor sales representative is responsible for generating sales leads, prospecting new clients, and closing deals outside the office environment.
  • They actively engage with potential customers in various locations, such as businesses, events, or neighborhoods, to promote products or services and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers through research, networking, and cold-calling. Generate leads and build a pipeline of prospects for sales opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings or presentations with potential clients to understand their needs, introduce products or services, and address any questions or objections.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with prospective clients to secure sales. Close deals and obtain signed agreements or purchase orders.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals. Follow up with clients after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Provide feedback to the sales team and management on customer preferences and market insights.
  • Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, including leads, contacts, and sales transactions. Prepare regular reports and updates for sales management.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company. Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
