Daily Accounting Operations
- Record day-to-day financial transactions using accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Handle sales and purchase entries, expense claims, and petty cash.
Bank Reconciliation
- Reconcile daily bank statements with internal records.
- Track incoming and outgoing payments.
Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Manage vendor payments and ensure timely disbursement.
Inventory & Stock Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics to match inventory with sales and purchase data.
- Maintain accurate stock valuation, especially for gold, diamonds, and other precious stones.
Billing & Invoicing
- Generate accurate sales invoices based on approved rates and client terms.
- Apply VAT or other applicable taxes as per local regulations.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports for management.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents, ledgers, and tax files.
Audit Support
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations (e.g., VAT/GST).
Cash Flow Monitoring
- Track cash inflows and outflows to maintain healthy liquidity.
- Prepare forecasts for expected payments and collections.
Coordination with Sales Team
- Verify sales team claims, commissions, and returns.
- Reconcile customer ledgers and credit notes.
