Performs professional accounting work involving compilation, consolidation and analysis of financial data. May include any or all of the following - ledgers and preparation of journal entries; fixed asset or inventory accounting; preparation of trial balance or financial statements; cost accounting; bank account reconciliation, Book Keeping, Microsoft Office user And Data analysis.

Skills

Recording Transactions: Record journal entries for all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries for routine and non-routine transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporters Standard, these are set of Accounting Procedures in preparing financial statements.

Account Reconciliations:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Maintains records of accounts including; subsidiary ledgers, Petty cash, balance sheet, invoices and journal entries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all the financial transactions including commissions.
  • Regularly update commission earnings received daily from different banks through the statements.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Providing financial information to management, clients, and other stakeholders

Month-end and Year-end Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing adjusting entries and reconciling accounts.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, highlighting trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
  • Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations

Providing comparative analysis of actual results

Regulatory Compliance:  Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend changes as necessary with internal policies and procedures, as well as external regulations and reporting requirements. 

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 

Audit Support:

  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as required.
  • Auditing financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations

Cross-functional Collaboration:

·        Collaborate with all other departments and divisions of SH Holding to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Interacting with bank employees for address and inquiries regarding the transactions

Computes and records financial data to keep and maintain fiscal records according to the established bookkeeping and accounting procedures and systems.
