Area Sales Manager/Alexandria

Strategy:

-Establishing strategy (sales, marketing, pricing), budgets, forecasts, and financial objectives in agreement with the Sales Manager and the Division Director of Shell Lubricants. 

-Follow the instructions of the Sales Manager regarding Shell’s sales strategy and approach, deployment of the product portfolio, and development of white spaces and opportunities. 

, -Surveying customers’ product needs, as well as, tracking our competitors

- Analyzing country market trends and discovering innovative opportunities for growth 

-Identifying new product prospects, and/or product, packaging, and service improvements 

Sales/business development: 

-Visit accounts on a monthly basis.

-Undertake market updates/studies and keep updated customer profiles.

-Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals Interacting with the team to grow/maintain big accounts (mines, power-plants, etc.).

-Prepare comprehensive sales/development reports on “Salesforce” for all interactions with customers and suppliers. Prepare other reports as and when needed.   

-Liaise with the suppliers on technical and purchasing matters to boost sales and prepare reports to the suppliers as requested.

-Achieve all budget targets 

Management: 

-Monitor and manage continually the needs, availability and proper level of stocks of materials, to avoid any customer conflicts needs.

-Managing, training, coaching, setting goals and monitoring performance of the team 

Marketing: 

-Work with sales team to prepare marketing budgets in line with business objectives 

-Carry out promotion and marketing campaigns activities supporting business growth and brand awareness. 

-Monitor customer satisfaction regarding quality of products and services and solve/report immediately any issues that may compromise quality of products and services 

-Present new ideas / identify new business opportunities and prepare, if accepted by top management, the respective marketing plans and budgets.

Other responsibilities: 

-Accountability is part of your leadership role. You are entrusted to implement the strategy and to manage the team. Being proactive and innovative, you are expected to be highly reliable, promote excellence, good governance and consider the company’s reputation at all times in particular respecting the Code of Conduct. 

-Being a role model, you are responsible for your personal results, along with the results of the division with a particular commitment to the development of the members of your team 

-This is in addition to the functional tasks decided by the company.


- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or relevant, etc.…)-Relevant professional certification is a plus.- 8 to 12 years of experience.- Experience in sales &Technical (Lubricants & applications). - Significant Sales experience.- Have engineering knowledge in industry or transport, or related discipline-Excellent negotiation skills.-Excellent English and Arabic language level both spoken and written.-Excellent user of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and ERP system practical experience is a must.- Problem-solving skills.-Good interpersonal skills and good technical background / degree.-Excellent customer service, communication, analytical thinking, and sales skills.-Attention to details.- Channel Management experience
