- Monitor & manage the day-to-day activities of the software team to ensure each project remains on schedule and on budget and successfully implemented while maintaining high quality of deliverables.
- Create, maintain and track project plans and schedules, cost estimates and problem logs throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
- Allocate resources, conduct software team meetings, troubleshoot technical issues, and facilitate the deployment of software upgrades.
- Gather and update project materials, complete budgeting, forecast, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents.
- Define and improve processes to optimize performance and value over time.
- Make recommendations about schedules, prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members.
- Drive the strategic direction of our products & services taking into account emerging and legacy technologies.
- Devise a tactical plan which can be collaboratively carried out by the team to implement improvements to products, services, processes and knowledge sharing within the team
- Review projects progress and overview of the performance of all individuals in team.
- Facilitate the smooth delivery of all projects, enhancements and support delivered by the team.
- Coordinate with product managers, architects, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with software development methodologies, processes, and best practices, and enforce adherence to quality standards and project governance requirements.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fieldPMP certification is a plus5-7 years of experience with minimum 2 years as project manager.Advanced understanding of web-based and mobile-based systems programming and development.Experience working in a matrixed environmentDemonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and conciselyAbility to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines and to effectively manage staff.Highly numerate and literate, with the ability to produce top quality written specifications and strategy and implementation communication.Language Proficiency:Fluent Arabic and English verbal and written.
