We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the café.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a positive attitude and take orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to standardized recipes.
• Handle food preparation (if applicable), including heating pastries or preparing light snacks.
• Operate coffee-making equipment (e.g., espresso machine, grinders, blenders, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and café space.
• Restock and replenish inventory and supplies as needed.
• Handle cash and process payments using POS systems.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth café operations.
• Engage with customers, answer questions, and resolve complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
• Basic math skills and the ability to operate a POS system.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., bags of coffee, milk crates).
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and prepare drinks.
