Lead mechanical maintenance activities during the assigned shift. Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate daily maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities. Support plant shutdowns, start-ups, and commissioning activities. Maintain the reliability of critical DRI plant equipment. Coordinate spare parts and maintenance activities through SAP/CMMS. Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering with 12 15 years of relevant experience; OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 15 18 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in Gas-Based DRI Plants is required.
• Experience with MIDREX or HYL/ENERGIRON/HYL ZR technology is highly preferred.
• Strong experience with DRI mechanical equipment such as reactors, compressors, water systems, PGH, and HBI machines.
• Strong preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance experience.
• Experience with plant shutdowns and cold/hot commissioning.
• Knowledge of SAP/CMMS.
• Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Good English communication skills.
