مهندس جودة اللحام هو متخصص مسؤول عن التأكد من أن جميع عمليات اللحام تلتزم بمعايير الجودة والسلامة والقطاعات الفنية المحددة طوال المشروع أو عملية التصنيع.
المسؤوليات
- فحص اللحام باستخدام أساليب بصرية وطرق غير تدميرية (UT، RT، MT، PT).
- تطوير ومراجعة WPS وPQR وسجلات تأهيل اللحامين.
- التأكد من الامتثال للمعايير مثل AWS D1.1، ASME IX، API 1104.
- مراقبة التسخين المسبق، ودرجة الحرارة بين اللحامات، وPWHT.
- إعداد NCRs وتقارير التفتيش والوثائق الجودة.
- التحكم في تتبّع المواد والاستهلاكات.
- التنسيق مع العملاء، والمفتشين من طرف ثالث، وفرق المشروع.

A Welding Quality Control (QC) Engineer is a specialized professional responsible for ensuring that all welding operations meet defined quality, safety, and technical standards throughout a project or manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Inspect welds using visual and NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT).
- Develop and review WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records.
- Ensure compliance with codes such as AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API 1104.
- Monitor preheat, interpass temperature, and PWHT.
- Prepare NCRs, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Control material and consumable traceability.
- Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, and project teams.
