Helios Towers is a leading independent telecommunications infrastructure company, having established one of the most extensive tower portfolios across Africa. It builds, owns and operates telecom passive infrastructure, providing services to mobile network operators. Helios Towers currently operates in 8 markets in Africa and Oman in the Middle East.

 Overview

We are looking for a hardworking individual with Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Logistics and warehousing) background to cover for one of our employees who will be on leave in the Supply Chain Department for 6 to 9 months based at our office in Oman, Muscat.

Requirements of the Job:

 This role provides the opportunity to carry out negotiations, complex bids, strategic sourcing and to manage multiple RFPS / RFQS. This will include supplier management, quarterly price reviews - dependent largely on raw material costs, contract management, continuous improvement of equipment and service and monthly performance reviews. The Buyer will interact mainly with national suppliers but also international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
