Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA with deep expertise in database administration across all versions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare/clinical data environments and large-scale database management.

Key Requirements

• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements related to privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient healthcare and clinical data

• Experience managing databases on Linux & MS-Windows operating systems

• Sound experience in large-scale data movement, migration, and rollout — including online and offline data movements

• Proven experience in administration of Very Large Databases (VLDB)

• Solid expertise in Database Tuning, Application Tuning, Storage & Space Management, User & Security Management, Profile, and Resource Management

• Hands-on experience with active-passive clustering technologies including Windows ClusterServer, Oracle Failsafe, RedHat Cluster Manager, and Oracle Cluster One-Node

Desired Candidate Profile

Education / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field

Experience Required: 6+ Years in Oracle Database Administration (covering all aspects, Database versions 8i through 11g)
