  • Preparing of food , setting up and stocking kitchen stations prior to restaurant opening.
  • Ensure Quality of the food and service.
  • Assisting Head chef with cutting and precooking foods.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing food prep area and kitchen.
  • Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
  • Handling multiple deliveries of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and other items and including them in the inventory.
  • Verifying that all ordered supplies and food items are according to the requirements that were sent previously and match the restaurant's needs.
  • Understanding the composition of various sauces and salads and experimenting with the ingredients to enhance the taste.

Skills

  • Associate’s degree, diploma, or certification in culinary arts is advantageous.
  • Professional experience in handling duties and responsibilities of a Chef de partie and fundamental knowledge of the role.
  • An experienced individual having the required understanding and skills to execute the daily responsibilities of a Chef de partie .
  • Having the fundamental knowledge of responsibilities, duties, and concepts required to become a Chef de partie .
