العطاء والتقدير
- مراجعة وثائق العطاء والمواصفات والرسومات وجداول الكميات.
- إعداد تقديرات التكلفة التفصيلية (الملخص) لمشاريع الصيانة والسلامة.
- حساب تكاليف المواد والعمل والمعدات والتنفيذ.
- إعداد العروض الفنية والتجارية.
- تطوير قياسات الكميات من الرسومات.
- تحليل مخاطر العطاء وتوصية إجراءات التخفيف.
- إعداد مقترحات هندسة قيمة حيثما كان ذلك قابلاً للتطبيق.
- الحفاظ على سجلات التقدير وقواعد البيانات التكاليفية.
تنسيق المشتريات
- الحصول على عروض أسعار من الموردين والمقاولين من الباطن.
- تقييم عروض الموردين تقنياً وتجارياً.
- التفاوض على الأسعار لتحقيق تكلفة تنافسية.
- إعداد بيانات المقارنة.
- التوصية بالموردين المناسبين.
توثيق العطاء
- إعداد تقديمات العطاء كاملة.
- تجميع بيانات الامتثال.
- إعداد التقديمات الفنية.
- إعداد الوثائق الخاصة بالانحرافات والتوضيح.
- المساعدة في وثائق التأهيل المسبق.
تنسيق مع العميل
- حضور اجتماعات ما قبل العطاء.
- إجراء زيارات ميدانية قبل تقديم العطاء.
- توضيح الاستفسارات الفنية مع المستشارين والعملاء.
- الاستجابة لتوضيحات العطاء.
تسليم المشروع إلى فريق التنفيذ
- تسليم المشاريع الفائزة إلى فريق التنفيذ.
- شرح افتراضات التقدير واستثناءاته.
- دعم قسم المشتريات أثناء تنفيذ المشروع.
التحكم في التكلفة
- مراقبة التكاليف المقدّرة مقابل التكاليف الفعلية للمشروع.
- الحفاظ على تاريخ التكلفة للموازنات القادمة.
- تحديد فرص خفض التكلفة.

The Estimation Engineer Fire & Safety is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender submissions for Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Fire Suppression and other ELV systems. The role involves reviewing tender documents, preparing BOQs, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and relevant standards, and supporting the sales and project teams throughout the tendering process.
Tender & Estimation
- Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates (abstract) for Fire & Safety maintenance & projects.
- Calculate material, labour, equipment, execution costs.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Develop quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Analyze tender risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Prepare value engineering proposals where applicable.
- Maintain estimation records and cost databases.
Procurement Coordination
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate supplier offers technically and commercially.
- Negotiate prices to achieve competitive costing.
- Prepare comparison statements.
- Recommend suitable vendors.
Tender Documentation
- Prepare complete tender submissions.
- Compile compliance statements.
- Prepare technical submittments.
- Prepare deviations and clarification documents.
- Assist in pre-qualification documentation.
Client Coordination
- Attend pre-bid meetings.
- Conduct site visits before tender submission.
- Clarify technical queries with consultants and clients.
- Respond to tender clarifications.
Project Handover to execution team
- Hand over awarded projects to the execution team.
- Explain estimation assumptions and exclusions.
- Support procurement during project execution.
Cost Control
- Monitor estimated vs. actual project costs.
- Maintain cost history for future estimates.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction.
