Roles & Responsibilities

At Eni , we are looking for a Contract Engineer to join Eni Oman B.V. i n Muscat . You will be responsible for managing procurement and contracting activities for works, materials and services, including contract strategy development, tendering, commercial evaluations, contract negotiations and award processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures and delivery of cost-effective, high-quality outcomes. Main responsibilities: Develop and implement contract and procurement strategies for goods, works and services. Prepare and manage tender processes, including tender documentation, bidder evaluations and contract awards. Conduct commercial and contractual evaluations, negotiations and recommendation processes. Draft and review contract documentation, ensuring compliance with company requirements, policies and applicable legislation. Identify procurement opportunities, challenge business requirements and propose cost-effective solutions. Perform market analysis and supplier assessments to support sourcing decisions. Manage the full contract lifecycle in coordination with internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate procurement and contract records and reporting. Drive continuous improvement in contracting and procurement practices. Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Ethics, procurement procedures and governance requirements. Skills and experience required: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Experience with SAP MM and SRM modules is an advantage. Experience working on complex projects, preferably in the oil and gas sector. Strong understanding of international contracts and project governance. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. CIPS qualification is desirable. Required Competencies Knowledge of oilfield contracts, procurement processes and equipment. Strong commercial awareness and market knowledge. Excellent analytical, auditing and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and performance orientation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multicultural environments. High level of professional and personal integrity. Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Experience Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, including relevant experience in contracting and procurement. Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage.
