The project:

The programme includes the development of a state-of-the-art port facility with the capacity to process millions of tonnes of bulk cargo annually, incorporating marine infrastructure, landside logistics, transportation links, utilities, and operational facilities. Scheduled for completion later this decade, the project represents one of the region's most significant port and industrial infrastructure investments.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a complex, large-scale development that will play a pivotal role in supporting economic diversification, industrial growth, and global supply chain connectivity. Candidates will have the chance to work alongside multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment, helping to shape a strategic piece of infrastructure with long-term regional impact.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead the PMC team and act as primary client interface.
• Provide strategic oversight across port, marine and mine delivery.
• Drive multidisciplinary coordination and effective site execution.
• Review and approve key deliverables and ensure programme alignment.
• Oversee critical procurement activities and package interfaces.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual, technical, and delivery standards.
• Lead executive reporting and client governance forums.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (postgraduate in marine or related discipline preferred).
• 20+ years’ experience, including 10+ years in port and marine design.
• Proven leadership on at least two large-scale port projects.
• Strong track record delivering complex infrastructure programmes.
• Effective communicator with analytical capability and ability to engage, influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
