Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate helicopters in diverse environments, from urban centers to remote offshore platforms, adhering to strict flight plans and weather conditions.
- Execute precision maneuvers for specialized missions such as search and rescue, emergency medical services, or aerial surveillance, requiring exceptional control and situational awareness.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, ensuring all aircraft systems are fully functional and compliant with safety regulations.
- Navigate complex airspace and manage communication with air traffic control, other aircraft, and ground personnel to maintain safe separation and efficient flight paths.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possess a valid Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CHPL) with relevant type ratings for the aircraft operated.
Accumulate a minimum of 2,000 flight hours, with significant experience in the specific industry (e.g., offshore, EMS, SAR).
Demonstrate a strong understanding of aviation meteorology and navigation principles, with the ability to interpret complex weather data.
Exhibit exceptional hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning, crucial for precise aircraft control in challenging conditions.
