For our own projects, we are looking for: Project Manager - Omani.
MISSION:
Responsible for overseeing and manage large-scale infrastructure projects, including tunnels, bridges, and railway systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, construction management, and project coordination, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
TASKS:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project objectives and contractual obligations.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Team Management:
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure clear communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
Technical Oversight:
- Review designs, specifications, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
- Provide expertise in civil works for tunnels, bridges, and railway systems.
Quality Assurance & HSE Compliance:
- Ensure that construction activities meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure projects, including tunnels, bridges, and railways.
- Proven track record in project management roles with end-to-end responsibility for complex construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials for tunnels, bridges, and railway systems.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
