Our client Muscat Duty Free is looking to hire a Graphic Designer with a focus on the retail side.
Responsibilities
- Implement the creative strategies by bringing to life campaign ideas through engaging designs that resonate with global audiences.
- Develop global marketing campaigns that attract attention and drive Passenger Average Spend (PAS). Ensure all designs work harmoniously across channels, from online to in-store.
- Work closely with marketing team and Head of Retail to create designs that align with business goals
- Ensure key messaging is clear and impactful within stores and online, making Muscat Duty Free communications memorable and visually distinct.
- Support the retail and commercial by designing marketing materials that effectively convey key messages and ensure in-store communications look great and are impactful.
- Work closely with the our brand partners, Marketing, e-Commerce, and Commercial teams to ensure that every creative idea is flawlessly executed, from concept to final output.
- Stay up to date with emerging design trends, applying them where relevant to enhance the brand’s creative output and ensure designs remain fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Develop brand identities for new market entries, ensuring they reflect a strong sense of place and the unique characteristics of each location.
- Assist in trafficking design projects, ensuring workflow and priorities are managed efficiently and collaborate with the Head of Marketing to ensure timely delivery of all creative assets.
- Manage digital assets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient distribution and impactful use across all projects.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the Marketing, Retail and Commercial team, keeping them informed about design progress and developments.
- Create visually compelling designs for print in store and digital platforms, including advertisements, brochures, websites, and social media.
- Collaborate with marketing and brand teams on designs and signages
- Develop brand identity materials, such as logos, typography, and color schemes, ensuring brand consistency.
- Produce mock-ups, and presentation materials for stakeholder review.
- Develop and implement in-store displays and layouts to maximize customer engagement and drive sales
- Plan and execute seasonal themes, promotions, and HPP displays that reflect MDF and brand identity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years in a creative role
- 3 year’s experience in a design studio
- Proven experience of delivering exceptional brand campaigns for retail
- Technical proficiency in various software and design systems
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Trend awareness
- Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop for print design, and After Effects for motion graphics. Premiere Pro for video editing.
- Print Production: Understanding of colour theory, print-ready file setup, and production processes.
- Typography and Layout: Strong grasp of typography and layout design for both print and digital media.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Ability to create and edit motion graphics for digital platforms, using After Effects.
- Video Editing: Basic video editing skills in Premiere Pro.
- File Management: Experience managing and organizing large design and video files.
- Exporting for Platforms: Skill in exporting optimized files for print, web, and video.
