Functions

·To undertake training and lectures within the In-House Training School covering both basic and advanced levels in all NDT disciplines to ASNT/PCN

·To undertake training in Manual Handling, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (radioactive materials) and Rope Access, where applicable

·To learn, qualify and be able to carry out a full range of NDT & ANDT inspection techniques on components, pipework and structural assemblies in order to establish acceptability to specifications.

·To learn, qualify and be able to establish the most effective NDT & ANDT techniques on components requiring inspection.

·Evaluate results of the tests in accordance with applicable specification

·Produce clear and concise reports detailing the methods used for the inspection.

·To liaise with qualified technician, supervisor and/or manager on any aspects of work you may be unsure about prior to undertaking the work.

·Carry out work in accordance with Oceaneering operating procedures and statutory/client specifications and requirements, where applicable

REQUIRED

• Secondary education in English, Maths and Science e.g. GCSE or equivalent (P).
