Role summary

Working unsupervised, installing the ESP, monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing downhole ESP equipment to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.

Essential responsibilities

• Under general supervision performs installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells.
• May be required to work unsupervised.
• Assists with monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing downhole ESP equipment to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• The position involves frequent travel on domestic assignments and time away from home, often at short notice. Handles special projects as assigned.
• Conducts all business activities in accordance with HSE policies and legal compliance requirements.

Essential requirements of the role (experience / skills / competencies)

• Years of experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Submersible Pump installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting are mandatory.
• Field of experience: Artificial Lift Systems - Electrical Submersible Pump installation and pull-out activities.
• Technical skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of downhole Electrical Submersible Pump systems.
  • Experience with ESP downhole installation and pullout, as well as troubleshooting surface equipment.
  • Analytical skills to route ESP problems during troubleshooting.
• Soft skills: Customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
• Tools or software (required / preferred): MS Office.
• Education qualifications: Diploma or bachelor’s degree.
• Industry background or experience (required / preferred): Oil and Gas - Artificial Lift System Electrical Submersible Pump required.
• Required accreditations / qualifications / certification / licenses including driving license: LMV defensive driving experience.
