Position Summary / Job Brief:

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Design Engineer Intern to join our technical office team. The selected candidate will assist in the preparation of electrical design drawings, calculations, and documentation under the supervision of experienced engineers. This internship is designed to provide practical training, industry exposure, and mentorship to engineering students or recent graduates aspiring to build a career in the electrical design field.


Required Education:

-Final-year student or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
-Prior coursework in power systems, building services, or lighting design is preferred.


Required Skills:

-Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
-Basic understanding of electrical codes and systems used in building services.
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
-Team-oriented with a proactive and professional attitude.
-Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic, English, and French.


Tasks and Duties:

-Assist in preparing lighting, power distribution, low current, and earthing system designs.
-Support in drafting electrical layouts using AutoCAD or Revit under the guidance of senior staff.
-Perform basic electrical calculations (e.g. load schedules, voltage drops, cable sizing).
-Participate in the preparation of BOQs and material submittals.
-Support the review of shop drawings and coordination drawings.
-Conduct technical research and assist in preparing compliance reports.
-Attend technical meetings when required.
-Ensure adherence to project design specifications and internal quality standards
