A Marble and Granite Quality Control Manager oversees the inspection and testing of marble and granite materials to ensure they meet specified standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance: Implement and manage quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest quality of marble and granite products. This includes establishing quality standards, conducting inspections, and identifying product defects or deviations from specifications.

Material Inspection: Perform regular inspections of raw materials and finished products to assess their quality, including color consistency, texture, and structural integrity. Utilize specialized equipment and techniques for accurate assessment.

Testing and Reporting: Conduct tests on marble and granite to determine their properties and suitability for various applications. Prepare detailed reports on quality inspections, test results, and identified issues.

Supplier Evaluation: Assess and monitor the quality of materials provided by suppliers. Work closely with suppliers to address any quality concerns and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Team Management: Supervise and train quality control team members. Ensure the team is knowledgeable about quality standards, inspection techniques, and use of quality control equipment.

Problem-Solving: Investigate customer complaints regarding product quality. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of product defects.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all quality control activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve quality control processes and techniques. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in material quality testing and evaluation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in materials science, engineering, geology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in the marble and granite industry.

- Strong knowledge of marble and granite properties, industry standards, and quality testing methods.
